At the Geary Law Firm, Carolyn Geary is your Hometown Gulf Coast Attorney
Where Every Client Matters
At the Geary Law Firm, I take the time to understand each distinctive matter presented to me by a client in need of assistance. I make certain that my clients understand their options and can make informed decisions regarding the progress of their case. I represent clients both legally and in a personal manner - whether it is a high stakes divorce, or a family estate plan.
I have seventeen (17) years experience in litigation. I have worked for two (2) years behind the scenes as a Staff Attorney for Judges, so I know and appreciate how the process works. With several years experience as an insurance defense attorney, I can better represent those clients who have a personal injury claim, because I know how insurance companies work and think. Since leaving the big law firms, I have worked as a General Litigation Attoney, which consists of the areas of Family Law (Divorce, Custody, and Adoptions), Criminal Defense, Wills and Estate Planning, and Appellate Law. During this time, I had my own law firm, "McAlister Law Firm", for several years in Florence, Alabama. After leaving Florence, Alabama, I moved to South Mississippi, where I was the Regional Manager for Mississippi Center for Legal Services, Corporation for several years, where the focus of my practice was Family Law.
On a personal note, I am married to Mike Geary, and we live in Gulfport, Mississippi with our son, James. We attend Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi, Mississippi. I also teach First Grade Catechism at CCD at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church every Sunday. Also, I am active with the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
